Re: Show us your Workstation

The first pic is of my home office work station.I also have all my Guitar equipment hooked up into my computers.

The next pic is my storage area to the left of the fireplace. It does back 36" deep. I'm afraid to actually open the door for the avalanche of software, cd's and other computer junk that might fall out and kill me. I've warned the kids to "never, never open the door to daddy's stuff"!

I'm going to upgrade my work station soon to adding another monitor and putting all of them on monitor arma to get them off the work top.

Re: Show us your Workstation

thanks.... They sound not bad. There is a sub underneath the desk that doubles at a foot stool. I also have my home theatre system hooked up to my computrer through my Guitar port. I like to render with the music cranked when ever possible.

If it was a render there would be many more guitars in the picture!

Very nice working environment, I like the curved wrap arround desk as well. Seriously, five guitars is not enough? SHOW OFF! LOL

can you ever have enough guitars? That's like saying you don't need a faster computer.

Re: Show us your Workstation

Seriously, you need a Strat for blues and old school rock, A Guild solid body for the Heavy metal and a Gibson (Les Paul?) for Jazz and if you are into that sort of thing an accoustic. Anything else like an old Harmony with re-wound humbuckers for maximum distortion is just icing on the cake! LOL I never thought of my self as a minimilist, but I guess I am

All kidding aside, nice work space

I used to play in a band years ago but kids, my day job and my rendering business got in the way. For the most part I just write stuff with a buddy of mine. Technology is so nice these days because once I lay down a track I can send it to my buddy to add his. IT makes it so easy.

That corner where the desk is was originaly going to be a closet but I didn't want to waste the space so I had a custom top made to fit the corner. IT's on some Markant height adjustable bases and I have a high end Keyboard try on there so I can raise the whole station and stand it I get tired of sitting.
