Show us your Workstation

OK, the work place thread was cool, but I was thinking a lot of you are freelancers and don't work in an office, instead you work at home, but I am sure you have a desk and a computer, so lets see it. I will show you mine if you show me yours!

This is where it all takes place and I execute my duties as 'The Superme Ruler of the Universe'! It says so on my business card, honest

Re: Show us your Workstation

Visitors think I am a Soviet Spy or a leader of a terrorist splinter cell! LOL But actually I am an air traffic controller for NASA, how did you know?

If I really wanted to show off, I would have my Tablet Notebook PC in the picture, that is for when I need to travel to the moon in my duties for NASA

Re: Show us your Workstation

WOW...fantastic working place you have there Russell!!
I'll show mine right after i finish some remodelation on my office, which is in my home, as you all now!!
I specially like your logitech mouse...LOL!!
I guess that whenever you're working there, you're sucking all Seatle's power rignt to your office...LOL!!
For serious, your Dell workstation rocks, we'll have to see how fast it is!! Maybe we should start a thread on benchmarking. All we have to do is to get a scene ready to render and then post the timings. I'm very curious to see your benchmarks relating to mine from my AMD Dual Core 4200+!!
Any way...

Re: Show us your Workstation

I had thought this topic would have been more active when it was started. Anyway, Paulo has been asking what my work space looks like now that I am a privateer and have added to my hardware collection. Since I heard someone say they couldn't make attachments, I thought I would verify by throwing a few more shots up to see if there is a problem.

In additon my convertable laptop tablet PC is in the mix, it is on an adjustable 360 degree rotational stand and serves as my 'Cyntiq' since I can't afford tossing out $2,500.00 for an advanced digitizer tablet.

For those of you who don't know, the Wacom Cintiq and tablet PCs let you draw directly on the screen so that you don't have the dis-association of hand to digitizer and eyes to computer monitor, it is just like drawing or painting without the mess or clean up

So come on people lets see your workspace whether it be at home or in an office

Re: Show us your Workstation

Cool! I was thinking latelly, is it better to have one big screen or two smaller? I have a friend who get used to work on two screens, now one is not enough no metter how big...
Russell, you should check on CSI Miamy, my favorite... all those Dell screens, big, wide, with tiny slick suports, when you make a new update of your hardware, go for those...
But seriously, your place really looks profesionall... I should put more hardware on my desk... then I hope it would be less messy... now, I had bigger desks and it is such a mess on them... not only I make a mess there, but also my kid and my wife... everyone put there something... no one cleans up... I will post my photos after cleaning, I hope soon...
