Thy Say that Cox is one of the better providers for speed. I’m on a old outdated modem. The tech from Cox told me if it burns out I will have to up date my modem.

O, Man! I have To Win the Lottery.
My experience has been that cable is faster than DSL even if you are paying for faster DSL, but that could just be in my neck of the woods. Of course I have DSL and they tell you that you have to use their modems, so when they do die, you have to wait for them to ship you a new one. With cable I see that they sell them at the local computer store, so it seem slik eyou have more flexibilty.
