Wooooooooo ... I've changed my ISP and look at this ...
I guess its way too fast than what is get.. It is supposed to be 2 Mbps as stated by the provider. But I guess DSL connections depends on the distance.. the closer we are to the server the faster the speed.

I was feeling pretty good until kiittea shouwed up Of course he is right, depends on where you are located, I could get as fast as 7,000 in some places, but 3,000 is all they thought I would get at my location.
Neha, what is yours now with your new connection?

New connection?? Well the connection I was supposed to get last to last to last Monday never happened. After making phone calls to all heirarchies of the service provided, I finally got an answer saying that there is a shortage of copper wire, and there is some problem with the municipal permissions for my area...whatever!! Its funny since the friend who recommended the connection got it only a week back. Even funnier thing is that my office has the same connection, and the building is not even a 100m away from my house, so the municipal excuse it s***. The most annoying part is that they are not ready to return my photos and doccuments they took for the verification saying that they are lost somewhere in the middle of some process and can't be tracked down. Leaves me wondering "Why these things always have to happen to me!!"
Anyways, my present connection IS actually faster than the one I had when we started this thread, and thankfully is absolutely stable...so I am content with it for now

Leon, Way to rub it in her face Leon! Show her yours is 638 times better than hers, way to run up the score! Actually who wouldn't love to have that connection, DAWG!
Neha, If your work is so close, why don't you hook a transmitter up to your workstation and point it out the window towards your house! LOL
P.S. I think Leon won!
