Hi,
I've never heard for any dvd training specialized for arch viz, but you can check at www.3dbuzz.com
There are many dvd tutorials for Max and other applications.
There is Mastering 3D max dvd. It covers fundamental techinques in Max.

It is good to look at Gnomon Workshop for training DVD's, very good quality

Re: modeling with max

Shame on me for not mentioning 3D-Palace, they were a very gracious sponsor of our last contest and the winners said their tutorials where good.

I just purchased the 3D Quakers tutorials and will let you know what I think of them after I have had a chance to watch them.

Re: modeling with max

As for modeling in Max, I can say it is never ending story.
There are so many methods and techniques...
Personally I like editable poly based methods... even for archviz...
I would start at looking first on the built in tutorials cause they are not so bad.
Than go to the CGarchitect, there in the tutorial section there is couple of modeling tuts which are very good, they are called editable poly for interiors, part I and II
Welcome to CGarchitect.com

Then you should go at the section of viz insider at the same site...
there are two modeling tutorials, very good, for furniture and for interior scene, explained in details...
Welcome to CGarchitect.com

Those are not dvd-s, but they are very good and explain in simple way the most usefull technique for modeling in max
