To try and prompt some participation in the software forums here, I thought I would post a recent project that will cover a couple programs. This final composite image is mostly Maxwell with some SketchUp work which will get covered in more depth in the SketchUp forum. Carriage House - Car Collection SU
This is a Carriage House for an exotic car collection and wine tasting. Being a car buff, I only worried about the garage portion, don't care about the wine tasting part Composited into the actual site, shoreline and ridge line in the back are about the only original part here, the rest is made up to cover what is existing on the site. I call myself a car buff and then notice that late at night I made the unforgivable mistake of making the Enzo a color other than Ferrari red or yellow, I apologize for the sacrilege, as well as the Lambo color being a bit wild, lets just leave it at some artistic privileges taken for the sake of composition. If you ever run into me you can tie me to your back bumper and drag me for a quarter mile for my pentance.

looking nice! my only crit is aimed at the cars - they need more work especially their head and tail lights. could you post the wires for the exterior? nice stuff
Thanks, the job was strictly SketchUp, I just rendered it out quickly since I already had the model. Wire frame, well the SU images at the bottom are HLRs basically

Yes, that is why I didn't tweak it when I realized the Enzo didn't have an official Ferrari color or other items that aren't up to snuff. What I meant was that I quickly set it up on a render station and came back a couple days later! LOL

Great job buddy, I already commented on those... I could say something about cars, but knowing the situation they are fine by me... I would probably make in the interior image a bit lighter and glowing background image to accentuate the light coming from outside... and add a subtle glow around the windows and mostly around the skylight...
Probably with a bit heavier post-work lack of details on the cars would not be obvious...
Paulo, you got your credit for the modeling in the SketchUp thread, but I will cover it here as well, Munchacho pBarrelas did the original shell model in modo and then I converted it and cleaned up in SU because that is the format of the visuals that the client wanted to see.
These renderings are just something I did since I had the models laying around not doing much. The inside could use a lot of work, but I didn't feel the subject matter really deserved a lot of attention. Windows, well it was a catch 22 I was trying to show the strong reflection of the inside that Maxwell was showing and if I had the outside to bright it took away a bit from the scene, I will consider looking at it, the original file is layered and I have the windows blocked out via alpha, so I could play around with it more if I was so inclined. Thanks for the comments.
P.S. Branko, you see I followed your suggestion and painted out the existing house and cropped
