Computers are evil, evil creatures! Why is it that the tighter the deadline the more likely it is that your computers will crash or just generally find a way to make you lose your mind?!!!
I have 12 renders to do by June 3rd at the very latest and my wonderfull computers are having "that time of the month". Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can

Re: Computers are evil, evil creatures! Murphy's law I believe! LOL Hey if they are in Max 2008 or older I can render them out on my farm if you get into a bind. I don't have FinalRender or Brazil (YET) so if you are using those render engines, I can't help you. -

Re: Computers are evil, evil creatures! Well, you have to treat them gently and please them every once in a while...
If that does not work, try scarring them by turning to some new computer... d.sign -

Re: Computers are evil, evil creatures! I have to ask, how do you "PLEASE" a computer? You need to spend some time with your wife! LOL Kidding my friend, your second suggestion is good, I keep a Dell catalog open on my computer desk at all times, right there were my computers can see it! -

Re: Computers are evil, evil creatures! I'm still using Lightscape...which is normally very stable. Its not that big a problem...nothing that 4k and a trip to the computer store can't fix.
....or a big f'ing hammer! Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can

Re: Computers are evil, evil creatures! Oh yeah, didn't you get rich doing a Herman Miller catalog! LOL Hey you could just order a quad core or two MB cpu combo from someone like Tiger Direct for $400 a peice, and you may need RAM depending on what you have now for a quick and cheap fix -
